How does it work

MySQL-PostgreSQL Sync works according the following scheme. When running synchronization for two particular databases at first time:

• the program does full synchronization for each of selected tables from source and destination databases (inserts into destination table missing rows from the source, updates existing rows and deletes from destination table all rows missing in source table)
• the program creates all necessary service objects for incremental synchronization in next run (table to store changes and triggers on insert, update and delete for each table being synchronized)

When running synchronization next time, the program processes only data being changed in each table using incremental synchronization technique mentioned above.

Quick Lauch

Once you stored conversion settings into profile you can run the program in Quick Launch mode. Just launch Windows Explorer and double-click on the profile description (.s_p) file with left mouse button. This will cause MySQL-PostgreSQL Sync wizard to launch conversion loading the necessary settings from the specified profile. Then you will be taken right to the screen with progress of conversion without entering all conversion settings.
